In 2013 we took a 2 part trip to Portugal. Part one was touring Cascais, Lisbon, Sintra, and Porto with friends. Part 2 was a week-long self guided bike tour through the northern part of the country. Dan planned the trip and surprised me… I didn’t even know where we were going when I got on the plane! After several weeks of red herrings and worries about what on earth he would put in my suitcase, I found myself landing in Lisbon!
